Background:
Home Delivery Network (HDN) is part of the Littlewoods Group and is the UKs’ largest dedicated home delivery and collection service and the market leader. It has 62 depots across the UK and Northern Ireland, with an average daily intake of 5,500 parcels.
Action:
HDN engaged Morpheus to help it build a team of highly experienced and capable customer experience champions. They were to be based across the UK but centred around its major delivery hubs.
Potential hires required strong influencing and stakeholder management skills in order to drive forward significant business expansion in the customer experience area. They also needed to apply lean methodologies across its large depot network and work directly with clients on enhancing service and driving revenue. The brief was challenging because of the need for candidates to combine both strong operational skills coupled with excellent client facing and commercial skills.
Result:
Morpheus targeted talent from organisations in the target regions (Midlands and North West), meeting with all shortlisted candidates and pre-screening them for both technical and change management skills. Morpheus successfully helped HDN identify and hire 3 individuals. All hires have been successfully embedded in the business and 1st year projected benefits realised by the new hires are already providing HDN with a significant return on its Investment.
