The Role:

To manage completion of the Application Modules and Self-Assessment

Conduct interviews with SMEs and key knowledge holders across the business, write up the results and circulate for sign-off

Provide independent review and challenge of key assumptions and helps resolve any contested interpretations

Provide peer insights and regulatory perspectives

Identify gaps in requirements, sources documentation and manages remediation plans to address short-comings

Work closely with the Programme and Project managers to ensure the activities are aligned to the project priorities

Identify and capture the business problems and interpret and translate them into business, application and operational requirements

Work independently with users and/or under the direction of the Workstream Lead to engage with the business and develop business artefacts

Accurately records meeting outputs, plays back results and translates into meaningful responses to complex regulatory requirements

Develop expertise in all business areas and build relationships with stakeholders in order to identify and collate appropriate evidential documentation

Ensure timely sign-off, monitor progress and report key metrics


Experience Required:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Regulatory knowledge
  • Project-management experience
  • Understanding of regulatory expectations and the IRB Application Process: 
  • Regulatory knowledge
  • Strong Writing and communication skills
  • Strong experience of working with the PRA regulator


Desirable experience:

  • Experience on IRB (Internal Ratings Based), Basel II or IFRS9 regulatory programme
