Project Manager, Decommissioning & Deployment, International Law Firm, London
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager, with experience of decommissioning systems, cutover and deployment, to play a key role as the client moves from old legacy systems to new. With a project plan of archiving of 40+ legacy systems, this is a large programme of system change and transformation.
As Project Manager will be responsible for managing high profile systems change projects, managing and maintaining the catalogue of systems to be decommissioned and archiving the legacy systems being replaced. You will coordinate the cutover of old systems to new, defining cutover and deployment plan.
You will engage with owners of the systems, including external vendors and internal product owners, to ensure systems are effectively decommissioned in alignment with business requirements.
As such, to be considered for this position, applicants must have the following experience:
·An established Project Manager at senior level, with experience of system decommissioning, cutover planning or system deployment projects whereby you take new systems through to go live’
·Experience producing and coordinating the decommissioning plan for a multitude of varying systems
·Confident liaising with technical teams
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
This is an excellent opportunity for a successful Project Manager to join an International Law Firm embarking on large-scale change and transformation. You will be liaising with key stakeholders, working across the business, ensuring all system decommissioning and migration is coordinated successfully.
Ideal candidates will possess dedicated project management experience, along with excellent communication and organisation skills. This is a Fixed-Term Contract (18 months) paying a salary of £70-85,000.
