Contract Solution Analyst – Edinburgh – £400 – £450
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our top financial services clients for a Solution Analyst, with regulatory experience, to play a key role on a large Transformation Programme, bringing about significant technology changes and both business / end customer benefit.
Playing a key role in the Analysis/Design phase as part of Design, build, development, test you will work alongside the Lead Solution Architect complimenting the development and testing teams, in the development of systems and products onto the existing technology platform.
Working alongside the Solution Architect you will:
•creation and maintenance of the high level system documentation
•Development of core business application system architecture
•Translate specifications into detailed designs for implementation
•Review project solutions, evaluating potential IT products and solutions
Playing a key role during the development of system enhancements you will liaise with DBAs, Programmers, Business Analysts, Application Managers and Enterprise Architects.
Ideal candidates can come from either Business Analysis backgrounds or technical backgrounds in programming / development, key is recent functional design experience.
•Experience working with service layer APIs, desirable
•Previous experience on a regulatory portfolio essential
This is an ideal role for an individual wanting to progress their career into architecture, with previous experience in functional design, this role will offer excellent architecture exposure on a large programme of work, expected to last two years. This is a 6 month contract opportunity based in Edinburgh, paying £400-450 per day, dependent on experience
