Position Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with key clients in the food and beverage, energy, renewables, and chemicals industries.
You will be setting up a new market for the business looking to leverage pre existing business relationships and hunt for new business opportunities.
Leveraging your industry expertise and the innovative AI/ML data platform, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, develop tailored solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be based in France, fluent in both French and English, and possess a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth within assigned verticals (food and beverage, energy, renewables, and chemicals).
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives, procurement professionals, and technical decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Lead negotiations, develop proposals, and close deals in accordance with company objectives and policies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position the company as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue quotas, and performance metrics on a consistent basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the technology, SaaS, or data analytics industry.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the food and beverage, energy, renewables, and chemicals sectors, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and key challenges.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to articulate complex value propositions to diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both French and English.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed
