Pre Sales Consultant / Sales Engineer
FL Ops for IoT – Edge AI startup
£80k – London – Hybrid
Job Overview
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential clients and provide them with technical and product information about our edge AI and FL-Ops solution
- Help scale the Pre-sales capability and team in due time.
- Assist the sales team in qualifying new business opportunities by analysing customer needs & feeding back to Product Management for future feature development prioritization.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to qualify customer opportunities, develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
- Work with the product team to create and facilitate sales enablement sessions.
- Run discovery workshops which include understanding the customer business pains, technical stack and AI maturity.
- Design infrastructure and federated learning solutions based on our that services the customer requirements.
- Conduct and deliver compelling demonstrations tailored to the needs of the customer to showcase how features solve client problems
- Work closely with the product team to stay up to date on the latest product developments and features and ensuring product offerings are aligned with customer needs
- Understand the competitive landscape and be able to effectively position our solutions against our competitors
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in edge AI
- Participate to events and demonstrate our to prospective customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role in the AI or edge computing/IOT space
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of edge AI and machine learning concepts and technologies, preferably some data science experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and analyse market trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Remuneration and benefits
- £80k per annum + Sales Commission
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays and weekends
